We must care to think about the unthinkable things, because
when things become unthinkable, thinking stops and action becomes mindless. –
James Fulbright
I think it is incredibly unthinkable that we would have a snow storm in May. But we did! It just seemed unthinkable to have to deal with yet one more snowstorm. We're tired, we're done, and we want spring. Duh! So I confess, I didn't have any thoughts to share yesterday. I just mindlessly grabbed my boots, put them on and ventured off to work without thinking about blogging. I let the unthinkable win.
So today, let's think about things differently and take some action. The great news is...this snow won't last. The moisture is a good thing for the future crops for the upcoming season. The birds and the trees, while shocked, will survive because the weather will again turn warm. The grass will grow fast. Soon, we'll be complaining about having to mow it. The people who put their boots on and made snowmen enjoyed the snow. The people who sang Christmas songs on the way to work enjoyed the snow and made light of the situation. That's the way I want to be - enjoy even the unthinkable moments and take action!
Taking action to see the thinkable in the unthinkable, now that's worth taking action for! Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy your thinkable moments of action today. Happy Friday!

A time to ponder a better way to take action is worth it! |
