Buds to Blossoms

There came a time when the risk to remain tight in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.  ~Anaïs Nin

Morning Glories fascinate me.  They are an interesting vine, with heart shaped leaves and bold colored flowers.  I love how they close tightly at night, and then open up to greet the morning with their beautiful color.  This year's crop had a rough start in my garden.  The darn rabbits or deer kept eating them and those nasty bugs enjoyed their leaves too.  We had so many days of scorching heat. I wasn't sure they would even make it.  While they look fragile when they close up, they seem to be hardy enough to continue their quest up the lattice work.  The risky climb upwards even in days of extreme heat and wind.  They hang on tight and continue to break free from their closed state and blossom to the beauty they were designed for.  A moment of nature that's a tad bit inspirational!

Good night

Hello morning
